Prelude to a wireless connection

This step by step guide on Instructables.com tells you how to hook up a Xbox 360 to a win or mac notebook in order to get access to Xbox Live via your notebooks wired or wireless connection to the internet. While I haven't had much success myself I understand that many people have been able to take advantage of this connection there by passing the need to buy a wireless adapter for the 360 which the last time I checked still retailed for $100. It seems that the more the technologies of consoles advance the more modders can do with them and I've seen some amazing modifications for the 360 from custom led accented controllers to clear 360 cases. I'm hoping someone will be clever and mod the 360 to play blu-ray discs.
